Recommended Keyboard for (Pro)grammer
Preview
As a programmer, absolutely we need a keyboard to write the code 🗿.
A keyboard is like a part of life for a programmer, so you need to find the best and most comfortable keyboard. So, let me introduce my favorite keyboard that I have been using since 2021's 🔥
Unique Layout
. The layout of my keyboard is not conventional; it is called the HHKB Layout. The first HHKB Professional was released in December 2003 and is available in either white or charcoal (black) colorways with either blank or printed keycaps. Retroactively known as the HHKB Professional 1, this is the first HHKB model to use the famous Topre electrostatic capacitive key switches, which all subsequent models use to this day.
The latest version is called HHKB Professional Hybrid and has 2 types, standard and type-s (silent version) 🤫
They also create a JP layout for Japan
You should use this keyboard!
As you can see, for the layout. Mostly, you never use the Caps Lock button on your keyboard. And the common button you use is Control. For conventional design, you need to move your hand to press the Control button or arrow button, and for a long time, that will make your hand tired 😩. HHKB layout is designed for long-time use and makes your hands not tired easily 🙃. For the arrow, you can use the button combination fn+ [ (up) fn+ ; (left) fn+ / (right) fn+ ' (down). It's called diamond arrow 💎 and the Backspace button is more reachable.
Connectivity
For the hybrid version, you can connect using a cable (type-c) or over Bluetooth (support for 4 devices). And also, this keyboard uses two AA battery 🔋, so you just replace them with new ones if the batteries get low. I would recommend that you use a rechargeable battery. 🌱
End Game
For the Keyboard enthusiast, End game keyboard is a myth 👺. Once you join the Mechanical Keyboard World, it's hard to get out. Because you need to explore more and more to find your endgame keyboard. That's why I chose HHKB, because I need a lot of money 💸 if I want to do modifications. Last time I bought the keycaps only, it took about $112 (including delivery) + tax about $38 🥲. I have planned to do my real end game by combining my HHKB with Heavy Grail, but I don't know when I will do that, because the price of Heavy Grail is high (about $680.00) 🤌
Alternative
But out there, some cherry switch keyboards have used the HHKB layout. Here are some recommendations for a cherry switch keyboard with HHKB layout

That's all from my opinion and experience, so back from your prefered 🤌.
